Why this expands consciousness
Semiotics here is not a hobby of decoding. It is training the instrument of attention. A mind that can tell sign from slogan, correspondence from control, and beauty from decoration becomes able to ask better questions of the answer that is the Universe. Structure completes the bit. Joy is allowed.

In his mark, the U is the cosmos. The eye at the center is the one who looks. The arrows say they are not two worlds. They are one conversation.
It from bit: every “it” we meet (particle, field, even spacetime) draws meaning from answers to questions put to nature. Not a video game. A cosmos that becomes definite through participation.
Looking is already a scientific act. The circuit closes when the one who asks stays in the conversation.

In the Kindle edition, page 42 is the last page of Two Suitors. The parable ends. The door swings. Beyond it: The Interior Quest. The second suitor’s approach is the hinge that lets the book turn.
First suitor: Logos without Eros. Second suitor: love and intelligence together. The Book holds both 42 (structure) and 69 (relation) at this hinge.
